Temuco // Mega Simulacro de Terremoto 8.5 en escala Richter
La Municipalidad de Temuco, en conjunto con Carabineros de Chile y el Cuerpo de Bomberos de Temuco realizará un “Mega Simulacro de Terremoto 8.5 en escala Richter”, la actividad busca concientizar a la ciudadanía en temas de prevención, así como optimizar la reacción de las instituciones ante futuras situaciones sísmicas de gran magnitud.
Para lograr este plan, el municipio formó el Comité de Gestión de Riesgos de Desastres (COGRID), liderados por la Dirección de Gestión de Riesgos y Desastres (DGRD) y que, según explicó el alcalde Roberto Neira, “busca generar conciencia y preparar a la ciudadanía ante una futura situación de desastre natural, en un trabajo colaborativo que tiene como hito principal el simulacro planificado para el 13 de octubre de 2023 a las 11.00 horas.
Según Armin Llanos, director de la Dirección de Gestión de Riesgos y Desastres (DGRD), actualmente se encuentran en un trabajo de difusión planificada para lo cual se habilitó un código QR que al ser escaneado redireccionará al sitio web del municipio en donde se encuentra toda la información con material audiovisual relacionado al evento, contenido que será actualizado permanentemente.

En tanto el lunes 22 de mayo 12.00 am se desarrolló exitosamente el primero de 2 ensayos de simulacro previos donde participaron todos los edificios municipales, programándose para el viernes 25 de agosto (12.00 am), un segundo simulacro previo en donde participarán todos los edificios municipales y organizaciones que se adhieran voluntariamente.
La fecha 13 de octubre, en que se desarrollará el evento, corresponde a la conmemoración del Día Internacional para la reducción del riesgo de Desastres
